During June 26-28, 2015, Wat phra Dhammakaya Gumma, Japan, arranged a meditation retreat for locals. This meditation retreat was well participated by a group of 10 Japanese college students and 1 teacher, under the persuasion of Ven. Phramaha Pongsak Dhaniyo.

The final day of Buddhist Lent falls on the 15th day of the 11th waxing moon. This day marks the end of the three months Rains-retreat known as ‘Buddhist Lent’ in which monks had earnestly dedicated themselves to the study of Buddhist scriptures and meditation practice.
The activities of the branches of Dhammakaya Temple in the oversea
It started from the registration and conversation of international Buddhist monks. The international monks who came to the temple included ones from Thailand, America, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
The appearances of the word “Dhammakaya” The word “Dhammakaya” appears in various places both in the Tripitaka and other Buddhist texts. In the Tripitaka, the word “Dhammakaya” appears in four places.
On Sunday, August 28th, 2016 the Dhammakaya Meditation Center, Scotland hosted the meditation class at 16-17.30pm where there were 22 attendees.
